Audit Supervisor

General
As a supervisor, you will be managing audit assignments or working with a team on audit assignments.

Main Responsibilities

• Developing audit strategies which address all audit assignments in accordance with the Firm’s audit Methodology;
• Establish critical audit objectives and to set out the detailed audit approach to them;
• Ensuring the audit documentation reflects appropriate business understanding and the audit strategy;
• Review audit evidence obtained ensuring it is sufficient;
• Identify and recommend where specialists are required and to manage their input;
• Review financial statements subject to IFRS;
• Supervise, coach and develop subordinates;
• Deal with clients directly to resolve queries which arise;
• Recommend additional fee billing possibilities;
• Review and/or prepare management letters and preparing audit file for discussion with the Partner in charge of the audit.

The candidate

• Qualified Accountant;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant audit experience;
• Up to date working knowledge of ISAs
• Up to date working knowledge of IFRSs;
• IT literacy and in particular financial statement preparation software;
• Very good knowledge of the English language;
• Organisation and time management skills;
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
